Meatballs – Nickolas

I like meatballs. I also wanted to make them. Meatballs are one of my favorite foods. I came up with this recipe in the kitchen with my family.

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
• 1 lbs pork sausage
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp onion powder
• 1 tsp basil
• 2 tsp kosher salt (maybe one tsp is using table salt)
• 2- tbls parmesan cheese
• 2 cups bread crumbs
• 1/2 cup of milk
• 3 eggs

Instructions

• Put all the ingredients in a large bowl
• Mix together thoroughly
• Roll into meatballs (an ice cream scoop works good)
• Put some oil in a large sauce pan and heat
• Cook the meat balls on a medium heat turning to brown both sides
• Enjoy fresh or freeze for a quick meal later

Trying

My family eats these all the time. To save time, we cook a big batch and then throw them in the freezer. That way we can eat them whenever we want. My sister eats them like chicken nuggets. I like them in spaghetti and meatballs. They are also good with lignonberry sauce.
